Matting fees.

Based on the additional time required due to coat condition, length, density, and haircut complexity. Tier is determined at check-in.

Light maintenance

🟡 Tier 2

Extended grooming

  • Moderate tangles or dense coats
  • Specialty or "fancy" haircuts

High time & labor

  • Heavy tangling or challenging coats
  • Significant coat management
  • ~35 min added grooming time

Tier 3 doesn't automatically mean a full shave-down — methods are chosen based on what's safe, humane, and appropriate for your pet.

Behavior fees.

Based on the additional time and care needed to safely groom pets experiencing anxiety or fear. Never a punishment — never a "bad" pet.

Tier 3 doesn't automatically mean service is refused — grooming is adjusted to protect your pet's safety and well-being.

Grooming prices are based on the time required — not just breed or size.

⏱️ It's about time

Size, coat type, coat condition, behavior, and haircut style all affect how long a groom takes. Base prices cover a standard appointment — tiers apply when more time is needed.

🐾 Every pet is different

Even with the same dog, grooming time varies. Coat condition, behavior, and how your dog feels that day all matter. We never rush.

💸 Why was my groom more today?

It may have been longer since your last visit, affecting coat condition and time. Add-ons or de-shedding may also contribute.

🪮 De-shedding

A specialized service that varies by coat type, density, and compaction. Heavily compacted undercoats need extra brushing, products, and time.

🐶 Can I book multiple dogs?
Yes — but each pet needs their own separate appointment. Each dog requires individual time, handling, and care, and pricing is based on each pet's needs.
🕐 I booked 2 dogs at different times — when do I come in?
If you book a 9am and a 10am, you may bring both dogs at 9am. You cannot bring both at 10am. You're also welcome to bring them at their separate times.
💰 Do you offer multiple dog discounts?
We don't. Each dog requires individual time, handling, and care regardless of whether they're groomed during the same visit — pricing reflects the time and services each pet needs.
📏 What size is my dog?
Small — Yorkies, Toy breeds · SM — Maltipoos, Schnauzers · Medium — Cocker Spaniels · ML — Aussies, some Doodles · Large — German Shepherds, most Doodles, Goldens · LXL — larger versions of Large breeds · XL — any dog over 80 lbs · XXL — giant breeds, 95+ lbs. Every booking page also has a size picker with breed hints.
⚡ Why wasn't my dog done as fast as last time?
Even with the same dog, grooming time can vary — coat condition, behavior, and how your dog is feeling that day all play a role. We never rush grooming if extra time is needed for comfort and safety.
