FAQ & Fees Explained.
We believe in transparent, fair pricing and always prioritize your pet's comfort and safety. Here's everything you need to know.
Grooming fees are based on more than size alone and may vary depending on coat condition, coat length, density, time required, and the type of haircut requested.
Some pets require additional time, specialized care, or advanced styling beyond a standard groom. When this occurs, extended grooming or matting fees may apply. These fees reflect the extra labor, skill, and care involved — not a penalty.
All pets are assessed at check-in, and any applicable fees are communicated before grooming begins. Our goal is to provide high-quality, humane grooming while maintaining a safe and calm experience for every pet.
Matting Fees Explained.
Matting and extended grooming fees are based on the additional time required due to coat condition, length, density, and haircut complexity. Our priority is always your pet's comfort and safety.

Why Tiered Pricing?
Grooming prices are based on the time required — not just breed or size.
It's About Time
A dog's size, weight, coat type, coat condition, behavior, and haircut style all affect how long a groom takes. Base prices cover a standard appointment — tiered fees apply when additional time is needed.
Every Pet Is Different
Even with the same dog, grooming time can vary. Coat condition, behavior, and how your dog is feeling that day all affect how long a groom takes. We never rush if extra time is needed for comfort and safety.
Why Was My Groom More Today?
It may have been longer since your last appointment, affecting coat condition and grooming time. Additional services, add-ons, or de-shedding treatments may also contribute. Pricing reflects the time, skill, and services provided.
De-Shedding
Our base price covers a standard groom for a well-maintained coat. De-shedding is a specialized service that varies by coat type, density, and compaction. Heavily compacted undercoats require additional brushing, products, and time.
