Our Services.
Our Bath & Brush is the foundation of every groom. Your dog gets a full bath with professional shampoo and conditioner, a thorough blow-dry, complete brush-out, nail trim, and ear cleaning.
We finish every bath with a conditioning spray, deodorizing scent, and a stylish bandana or bow — so your dog leaves looking and smelling their best.
The Bath & Tidy includes everything in the Bath & Brush, plus light maintenance trimming. This means tidying around the eye corners, paw pads, and rounded feet, along with sanitary trimming and light feathering on double-coated dogs.
This service is ideal for dogs who need more than just a bath but don't require a full haircut.
Our Full Groom includes everything in the Bath & Tidy, plus a complete haircut tailored to your dog's breed, coat type, and your preferences. This includes full face shaping, body trimming, and breed-specific styling.
Pricing is based on coat length — shorter haircuts and shave-downs are priced differently from longer haircuts over ½ inch, as longer styles require additional time, handling, and detail work.
Doodles and Poodles are priced separately from standard grooms because of the time, coat type, and skill required. These coats — dense, curly, and prone to matting — often require 2 to 3 times more grooming time than a standard haircut.
Even a short Doodle cut involves extensive prep work, careful drying, and detailed scissoring that goes well beyond what a straight-coated dog requires.
We love cats — and we take their grooming seriously. Due to limited availability of trained cat groomers, cat appointments are limited. Cats require specialized handling and a calm, patient approach that differs from dog grooming.
We offer three cat services: Bath & Brush, Bath & Tidy, and full Haircuts including Lion Cuts. Pricing is based on coat length and size.
Our mobile grooming service brings the full Paws At Main experience directly to your driveway. Every service we offer in-shop is available via mobile — Bath & Brush, Bath & Tidy, Full Grooming, and Doodle Grooming.
Mobile pricing is higher than in-shop to reflect the dedicated service time, travel, and the personalized one-on-one experience of having your own private grooming van at your door.
What Goes Into Your Price.
Every dog is different — and so is every groom. Our pricing is built to reflect the actual time and skill involved, not just breed or size. A small dog with a thick, matted coat can take longer than a large dog with a short, clean coat.
All prices listed on our website and booking system are starting prices based on shorter hair and smooth, well-maintained coats. Final pricing is determined at check-in or during the groom, and any adjustments are always communicated before we proceed.
Size & Weight
We use 8 size categories from Small to XXL based on weight ranges. Size sets the base price — but it's just the starting point.
Coat Type
Short smooth coats, double coats, curly coats, and wire coats all require different products, tools, and techniques. Coat type directly affects time.
Coat Condition
A well-maintained coat takes less time than one that's matted, tangled, or has compacted undercoat. The condition of your dog's coat at the time of the appointment matters.
Haircut Choice
Shorter cuts and shave-downs take less time than longer styled haircuts. Cuts over ½ inch require more precision, detail work, and finishing time.
Behavior
Dogs who need extra patience, breaks, or handling require more time. We never rush a dog who needs space — but additional time may be reflected in pricing.
Time Required
Ultimately, pricing reflects time. The longer a groom takes — for any reason — the more it costs. We're transparent about this and always explain any adjustments upfront.
